RE: any other bve 4 routes on way????

In the next few days there will be a patch for the new Maybank routes. I've been through all of the route files to try and eliminate a lot of uneccessary lines of code which will improve the framerates very slightly. It will also overcome a signal fault and add one more route which I could not get to work properly before Christmas and had to leave it out. It's the freight working using a class 56 as traction. I'll post when it's ready for downloading. For other full screen routes using BVE4 you could do a search back through this forum and find quite a few good ones. You can also run several BVE2 routes, as long as the files are all .csv types it should run. Birmingham X-city is one and there are several great LU routes too, the Northern being my favourite at present. Have fun. It's much more of a challenge to drive a BVE4 route.Tony H

LAST EDITED ON Dec-31-04 AT 02:48 PM (EST)

The problem which faces most BVE developers is what BVE to build for. Bve 2.6.x was the last stable release of BVE with BVE4 Beta the latest with much more improved effects, alas it remains a Beta and has it's faults. I myself am coding in BVE 2.6 as opposed to BVE4 since Mackoy hasn't stabley released BVE4.Regards,
Nick

-----You are reading my signature now, don't waste your time reading it!-----
Or probably, maybe you should waste your time reading it.
Eh, where did my signature go?
Oh, here it is, the one you are reading right now? Can't you see it? I know I know, it's probably too bright to see it.
Hey, look at my avatar, nice right? I drew it with my own hands holding the mouse in Paint, with the pencil tool(and the Filling tool!)!
It's a picture of me in Planet Stooopid, where everything is the same as what you call "Earth" except that we are called "aliens" in your planet.
Anyway, I warned you not to waste time reading my signature! You have just wasted probably about 30 seconds reading it, where you could have spent the time doing better things, like maybe reading the next post below if there is one...

The part 2 of Barrow - Carlisle will be relesed in both bve 2.6 and 4 with tpws and aws... but you'll have to run it in the 323 until the 156 is upgraded.Derek kaye
