Illustrated is the Schiphol Airport (underground) station. The walls, I'm afraid, are not very sophisticated as yet. They are just plain walls. I used the default 'formwall.bmp'. Again, I am unashamedly trying to pick the brains of my betters: anyone has any suggestions for a better wall? Apart from photographing it? (It is several thousand miles.)Martin

You could try constructing your own version.I use the Gimp, which is a free photo-paint program and has lots of interesting tools to use. Many routes use excellent work from a good paint program. It does take some time and effort to learn to fully use these programs.http://www.gimp.org

Thanks. I have downloaded it, and it looks to be a formidable projects in itself. It may take some time to master this.

Nothing looks better than a photorealistic texture. Painted textures look like ... painted textures It should be possible to find someone with a digicam living near Amsterdam (maybe not in this forum, but there are other). I had help of this kind for one of my routes. The only problem is to find someone. For coincidence, I'll be at Schiphol station twice in January and February. Maybe I'll manage to take some photos. If so, I'll contact you afterwards.
