The original Pendolino (and not Pendilino) is the italian ETR450. You can find it in the site of Luigi Cartello at http://bve.altervista.org. The most recent upgrade of ETR450 is the ETR500 you can download from my site. P.S. ma xchè gli anglofoni lo storpiano sempre in sto modo????

RE: Class 390
Hi Eryk,I fancied doing the same, so I downloaded the Cl91 from http://www.bvetrains.co.uk and ignored all the speed limits. I can't remember exactly how early I arrived at MK, but it was very early indeed.I think that someone somewhere must be working on a Cl390 Pendo, but nothing's been released that I know of.HTHTN
The HST is also good for this route, as these were used in the past on Hollyhead and Blackpool services. After a short period of Loco Haulage, Hollyhead services switched to Voyagers in September, and they have also been used on Blackpools before these services were withdrawn. Also, the class 47 can be used on "Thunderbird" duties, or standing in for an electric, although this would be slower not faster. All 3 of these trains can be found at http://www.bvetrains.co.uk As a useless fact, using the 91 on this route is not as unrealistic as is seems, as one did run on the WCML at one stage for evaluation due to the original plan for the route modernistation using 91s and Mk4s fitted with ATP and tilt (which is why the Mk4s sides slope inwards), which would have been basically simplified versions of the APT-P.
Thanks for all the ideas, gahh how could i forget the HST! and im gonna try out sommore of these suggestions... BTW anyone know how's Mr.Bowden's Watford Junction to Rugby route is going? last update was in July
I presume WJ-Rugby is still being worked on, I'm sure he'd let us know if it was cancelled. To some extent, no news is good news in that respect, and for all we know, the next we here about it could be that its released. Should be well worth the wait though, especially if he updates it for BVE 4 (which could explain the lack of progress).
Yeah I had dropped him an email about that when i first heard of the new plug-in's for BVE 4 Beta. eventhough, the route as he discribed is coming along very nicely! though he's touchy on releasing screens of his progress. All in all I think he's a true artist at work. I've looked into BVE route making and i swear smoke came out my ears after glancing at coding Haven't had enough time to consider anything anyway.. too much stress, and im coming down with somthing as it is. I think it would take me a while to learn the BVE way of doing things, but im sorta used to the MSTS way of things, have a route im working on, well a route that was in the library a while ago that i'm Re-Vamping redoing the scenery completly. Still I get a headache just thinking about it. Enough of my banter! No need for a life story here...
BVE coding isn't to difficult, and most people who have been 'brought up on it' so to speak, find MSTS editing difficult. Like with any programming language (which it in a sence is), it takes time to learn all the commands and what they do, but once you know the basics it becomes quite easy, and the ability to copy and past chunks, and the ability to draw miles of track with just a few commands makes life very easy. You do need to be able to visualise things though, especially when it comes to object creation and placing, and it takes experiance to be able to put a certain parameter in and it to come out pretty much how you expected it, although trial and error is still usually still needed for fine tuning. You also need to be pretty good at maths, at least in the sence of mental arithmatic (object is 13m long and need to end 2 meters before the object that is placed at 20050m, where does it need to be placed? Much easier if 20037m comes straight into you head, rarther than you having to get the calculator), and formula use and manipulation. Out of interest, I wonder if people who prefer BVE coding design their websites using notepad and HTML, and those who prefer MSTS user web publishing programs?
I'm making Czech version of Pendolino (originally produced in Italy). I have good picture of cab, but problem are the sounds. I used and repaired some sounds from similar existing trains, but now I'm testing it only.
