Hi everyone... I have a little problem with the beta. I wonder what I need to change and in what file to cure it. As soon as I approach a red signal at what I presume must be too high a speed, the brakes go on and the train won't move. From what I've read in posts on this board the reset, which unlocked the brakes and 're-connected the power' that worked in previous versions isn't available in the beta.
I hope this isn't too dumb a question? But although everything else works fine, the whole thing comes to a halt and then just won't go anywhere... I wonder if it's in one of the beacon files? By the way this has happened on all the routes I've run so far..Birmingham cross city, Northern line v3, Circle Line... Luckily no other problems have cropped up to spoil what has been a wonderful day . jv

Add to the top of your route file:
Route.Signal(1) 999,
Route.Signal(2) 999,
Route.Signal(3) 999,
etc....This should set your signal speed limits to 999kph for each. I'm not sure whether the numbers refer to each induvidual signal, or to different numbers of aspects (I don't yet have more than 4 signals, & so I haven't experimented yet); Experiment until you find out.
Also, I'm not sure if these override the standard route speed limits or not, but it should get rid of the signal limits.Chris Leeswww.bvecornwall.tk -BVE Cornwall: Providing QUALITY Steam for Bve!

Thanks Chris, I'll give this a try ...Also I see the post about it being the Japanese signals limits ..so I've been to trainsimcentral and downloaded the latest files for British signals for the .4 beta . I'm hoping that should fix it, unless the japanese signal limits come in another file, or are hard coded. Experiments here we go! jv
