I recently downloaded TSC's Rocky Mtn. Route, but when I go to run it, I get an error 53 message telling me four signal files are missing. I've done a Windows search, and they're there, right where the error message says they're not. When I open the Object File, they seem to be there, although the object file has an odd structure: there are icons arranged like photos in a yearbook, with the names of the files underneath. The route file is NOT in CSV format, but is an RW file, so I don't know howw to get in it and see what's wrong.Any suggestions? Its annoying to run the sim when it has blanks where the signal towers should be.Thanks to anyone who can help.
HiI had a simpilar problem to this when I was coding my Ramsbury route, in my case the bitmaps were somehow corrupted, all I had to do was replace with bitmaps with copies from a backup and all was well. So maybe a re-install if you haven't tried it already, or a re-download if you have.BTW... with regards to .rw files, open with wordpad and if you know about .csv files then most of it should be easy enough to pick up.HTH
HiThe route is 2 years old now, and was written for BVE v1 As such the BVE directory structure is different nowadays, which is why the route can't find the signal textures.Download the attached zip, and unzip the files to the BVE/Railway/Object/RME folder and all will be revealed.Cheers Steve www.trainsimcentral.co.uk www.bvetrains.co.uk
