I have recently instaled BVE 4 and downloaded the .net framework following the links on the BVE website. When I tried to play bve 4 after the resolution page it came up with the following message:BVEDOTNET.EXE - Common Language Runtime Debuging servicesApplication has generated an exception that could not be handledProcess id=0xffe99e3d (-1466819), thread id=0xffe5659d (-1743459)Click OK to terminate the application.
Click cancel to debug the application.
When i click OK the message dissapears and no game appears
when i click cancel it comes up with the following message
BVEDOTNET.EXE - No debugger found.Registered JIT debugger is not available. An attempt to launch a JIT debugger with the following command resulted in an error code of
0x2 (2). Please check computer settings. Cordbg.exe !a 0xffea936dClick on retry to have the process wait while attaching a debugger manually
Click on cancel to abort the JIT debug request. Obviously they both closed the message and BVE 4 did not come on. For the resolution i tried both windowed and full screen using
640x480 16 bits. If it helps my computer is a windows ME 4.90 build 3000, compaq presario 5117EA. direct X 9.0, processer intel celeron 900mhz, 126 mb ram, intel 82810 graphics controller, ESS allegro sound device Is this a serious problem concerning the computer or BVE itself?
