Yes, Uwe Post is developing a german plugin for "Indusi and Sifa"The first step to this plugin is the atsd.dll in the trainfiles. This .dll works with .beacon 101 and it stops the train, when you are driving faster than the route allows.greatings

>http://BVE-Train.de In relation to the plugin would it be possible for you to consider
using something like ATSxxxx where xxxxx is the 'international
dialing code for the country concerned.. (for example the UK AWS plugin would be ATS0004A.DLL, The Indusi/Sifs could be ATS0049A.DLL- The exceptions to this rule would be Japan (effectivly ATS.DLL,ATS1.DLL,ATC.DLL (when written)) the US which is nominally
ATS0081.DLL (or ATS1xxxxy.DLL depending on the system,railroad concerned..)Under this naming structure theystems in countries neighbouring
germany would be...ATS0031.DLL - Netherlands
ATS0032.DLL - Belgium
ATS0033.DLL - France
ATS0041.DLL - Switzerland
ATS0043.DLL - Austria (OBB)
ATS0048.DLL - Poland (PPK?)
ATS0352.DLL - Luxemborg
ATS0420.DLL - Czech Republic
ATS0352.DLL - Lechenstien (although this code might be reused
given that the trains are effectily Swiss or Austrian)It is assumed that a spec for working with the plugin will be published along with it?BTW I would also like to suggest that someone keeps track of
'beaconspace' allocation. Any volunteers?
Alex

Some news from Germany – image 6

I think a national code is the best way, but easyer as the national dialing code is , i don`t know if it is the correct word, the national identify code.such as
D = Germany
GB = Great Britain
A = Austria
and so on.So we have an atsDxx.dll from Germany
and a atsGBxx.dll from Great BritainAfter the national code we all can give the .dll an individuell sign

Furthermore would users from outside the countries concerned
know that D was germany, A could also be A=Austria or A=Albania.I have no objection to national codes, but felt that using the international dialing code, that was at least unique to the country
concerned was a better method...Perhaps ATS_D(0049)xx.DLL which would encompass both methods?Alterntivly if you want an aphabetic identifer than it's
better to use de for the german plugin and UK for a british
one. Most people recogcnise two letter codes far more
easily than a one letter one(given that they occur at the end
of internet address..Under such as system
ATS_DE00.DLL - German
ATS_FR00.DLL - France
ATS_UK00.DLL - UK (Network Rail)
ATS_NL00.DLL - Netherlands
ATS_BE00.DLL - Belgium.
ATS_CZ00.DLL - Czech Republic
ATS_US00.DLL - USA
ATS_AU00.DLL - Australia etc
ATS_RU00.DLL - Ex USSR/ Russian Federation
ATS_BR00.DLL - Brazil..
Group Comments (note to Mods -New Thread?)
The only reason for tyring to get some kind of consensus on this
is so that 'namespace' clash doesn't occur..The options seem to be1) Martin's Suggestion
2) Use the 'national' dialing code for the country concerned.
3) Use the Internet country code (ie uk,de,ru,au,ca,us etc..)Of course as mentioned previously there is the issue of how to
prevent clashes in 'beaconspace' as well.Alex
