I cannot install BVE4. I have English WinXP and have the English version of .net Framework installed. The installation process asks for a couple of T's and C's and O's, but I cannot seem to get past a screen that looks like it is asking for a CD-ROM.Can someone please help me out here? This question has been raised a few times in these threads, but there's never been a direct answer. Perhaps no one knows?Any suggestions would be great. Thank you very much.Jim

RE: Can't Install BVE4 Beta

Umm, try memorising where " Next " buttons usually are, and click that to install. Also, when the installation screen starts up, make sure the radio button with somethingsomethingsomething M is chosen. I tried clicking the one with E and it just didnt work.

RE: Can't Install BVE4 Beta

Thanks for your info. I'll try the "M" thing when I get home. The NEXT buttons are pretty easy - they all have "N" by them.

-----You are reading my signature now, don't waste your time reading it!-----
Or probably, maybe you should waste your time reading it.
Eh, where did my signature go?
Oh, here it is, the one you are reading right now? Can't you see it? I know I know, it's probably too bright to see it.
Hey, look at my avatar, nice right? I drew it with my own hands holding the mouse in Paint, with the pencil tool(and the Filling tool!)!
It's a picture of me in Planet Stooopid, where everything is the same as what you call "Earth" except that we are called "aliens" in your planet.
Anyway, I warned you not waste time reading my signature! You have just wasted probably about 30 seconds reading it, where you could have spent the time doing better things, like maybe reading the next post below if there is one...

RE: Can't Install BVE4 Beta

No luck. Keep getting the same problem: I click on install, then Next, Next, Next, then I get an error like blah blah blah E4FF7809C743BFC2EF60347D4DCECD51 blah blah blah blah CD-ROM blah blah blah.Maybe 'cause I don't have Japanese characters enabled on my machine?Ugh. (PS: Removed net framework 1.1 in English and replaced with net framework 1.1 in Japanese - no difference.)
