AQUA DOLPHINS is the site and AdvanceBoy is the nickname of the Japanese author of this fantastic utility. The program is bilingual Japanese/English and builds astonishing CSV curved rail objects. We can chose, other then the radius, the number of segments with which the object is built (in the picture above the radius of the curve is 30 meters and the number of segments 18!) and a lot of other options. The program can be downloaded here: http://tokyo.cool.ne.jp/advanceboy/BVEs/Read%20me%20For%20%204.5.html The window interface is in my opinion much intuitive, however on the site detailed instructions are available (in Japanese). This is the link for the Excite English Translation. The program has been written using the Japanese version of Visual Basic 5 and neeeds runtime libraries to work (if you already don't have them installed). They can be downloaded at the Vector Japanese site: http://www.vector.co.jp/soft/win95/util/se081909.html?site=nLinks to other utilies for BVE (at now only in Japanese) are here: http://tokyo.cool.ne.jp/advanceboy/BVEs/BVEtop.htmlCheers, Luigi Cartello http://bve.altervista.org/ http://web.tiscali.it/lcartello/
Oh wow, this looks like a rather good idea, it probably also works with walls, fences, dikes and other things, right?Gonna try this out in the weekend.Edit: Never mind, rail only by the looks of it.
Just for the records: Rüdiger Hülsmann's switch utility is also still available. It's more simple to use but creates not only curves but also switches. You can download the windows version at bvesim.de:http://bvesim.de/download/kategorie.php?kat_id=4&sort=filenameThe download page is German, but the program is English.
