Hi Guys and Gals,
Could someone please be kind and explain to me in laymans "English" how to install and get BVEv4 to function?
I've downloaded the BVEv4 thingy, the .net thingy from M$, the Uchibo and several v4 trains(Betas). I installed the goodies but only have a "Blue" screen with the BVE Logo on it.
Please help.
Johan.

AFter you get that blue screen, right mouse click anyway on the screen and select "Open". Then select the route which you want to run.

-----You are reading my signature now, don't waste your time reading it!-----
Or probably, maybe you should waste your time reading it.
Eh, where did my signature go?
Oh, here it is, the one you are reading right now? Can't you see it? I know I know, it's probably too bright to see it.
Hey, look at my avatar, nice right? I drew it with my own hands holding the mouse in Paint, with the pencil tool(and the Filling tool!)!
It's a picture of me in Planet Stooopid, where everything is the same as what you call "Earth" except that we are called "aliens" in your planet.
Anyway, I warned you not waste time reading my signature! You have just wasted probably about 30 seconds reading it, where you could have spent the time doing better things, like maybe reading the next post below if there is one...

Hi Stoopy,
I've tried various ways, including yours. The thing just sits there and ogle me. Maybe I'm too much in a hurry? Do I have to wait some 4 - 5 minutes for it to settle?
What must the route "tree" look like? Does the main folder hold all the files or is there some other folders under the main one?
Sorry for asking so much "trash" but I really cannot get the darn thing to work except sitting there and "eyeing" me.
Johan.

Regret to inform that you must do it exactly as Stoopid said.
Be patient, despite we have to look for ourselves for a while
in the screen...
Another thing, BVE V4 won't work with .RW files, only .CSV
files are acceptable.Regards,

You can use .rw files. When you load a .rw route in BRR, it will create a brrtemp.csv. If you run the route in BRR and then exit, you can run the brrtemp.csv in BVE4 and voila, the .rw will run as BRR made it into a .csv! This will get overwritten the next time you load BRR though.BVEv4 Installation? – image 4

RE: BVEv4 Installation?

Gentlemen......Thanks a million, I got it to work as you've mentioned.
Is there any other routes available for v4 bar the Uchibo one?
Thanks,
Johan.
