RE: Rain on the S75

I would like to know how to remove
>the rain out of the routefolder on the S75 route. I think I have found how to do that.
First of all, make a backup of the route file. Then look for the line ".Rail(51) s75wtb-mlh2\weather\rain1.csv" and remove or make it a comment by preceeding with a semicolan. Then search for line 4150 and remove/comment out ".rail 9;0;0;51,"Those are the two references I found, there may be others. The fog will still be there but I don't think that has a big hit on frame rates - probably even improves them (fewer objects to render.) If you want, you could also remove the weather folder in the S75Wtb-Mlh2 objects. It is only 85.5kb so I would leave it in case you get a computer upgrade and want the rain back. Likewise save the backup route files for possible future use.Let the sunshine

RE: Rain on the S75

Hallo BassVAre we the only Dutch people on this forum?
What I would liek to know is why do you make a German based route instead of a Dutch one? I really like your work. What are your plans now the s75 is finished?Groeten,Jaap Stegers

Hi Jaap,As far as I know we are the only Dutch people at this forum. But it's a nice way to improve our English, isn't it? I made a German based route, because there were a lot of German objects, so I didn't have to make it all myself... As I've already told at this forum, I've also made a Dutch route, including a Mat'64 train, but I'm not ready to release it yet. I'm also not satisfied with the way it looks at the moment (scenery, traincabin etc.). So don't expect this route to come out the next months... I'm sorry... Bye! (or in Dutch: "groeten")BassV

RE: Rain on the S75

That's great news, I didn't heart of this before. When I first discovered BVE there was a mat64 from someone, but I can't remember his name. I suppose your 'plan V' is gonna be a bit more 'up to date'. I will be patient, but can't wait. Can you reveil more of that Dutch route, or is it a big surprise? Is it fictional or real? I ask to many questions! Well, at least this guy is eagerly waiting for your route and train!Greetings,Jaap Stegers

I also know the Plan V "old style". If I am right, this one was made by Sjoerd Ydema. Isn't he involved in the BRR project and wasn't he the first one to make a monorail route for BVE? However, I've made a completely new Plan V with realistic sounds (also ATB sounds). I only need a good photo of a cab... The route itself is fictional ( ) and I've also made Dutch signals and other trainobjects (6400, ICR, SGM etc).Be patient and maybe I'll post some screenshots soon Cheers!
