Is it a public or private Beta? Do the authors whose objects you've used want you to gain their permission before redistributing their work?If the authors of the objects you've used ask you to gain permission before redistributing them, then you should ask before releasing the route to the public, and if it's a private Beta then why not let the authors whose work you've relied on heavily have the opportunity to Beta test your route? Then the credits/permissions etc can be sorted out by the developer and yourself before it's released. Cheers,
Anthony.

No I wouldn't say you needed permission to post screenshots. But if the your route looks good mainly because of other people's objects making the route up, then it might be nice to mention the fact that you didn't make the objects yourself when you post the screenshots. At the end of the day, treat other people's work and other people as you would like your own work and yourself to be treated, and you'll probably be okay.Oh btw, the Developer Guidelines aren't laws, as Wulf has already pointed out in your original post, they are meant to be guidelines only. Anthony.

Like you said once, it's a shame they're necessary, it feels like 'teaching people to suck eggs' to remind them to say please and thank-you but unfortunately that's what it's come to. If or when everyone treats everyone else and their work with the respect they deserve the guidelines could in effect become superfluous but I don't see that happening in the near future... Wise man say...He who does not honour others effort
should not expect honour himself.'
</SELLERS><1>BTW Does anyone have a sutiable Japanese term
that could be applied to the route creators
like Anthony Bowden or Don Clarke? In any event it would be a nice graphic
for thier websites...Alex<1> Peter Sellers was a Uk comedian wlle known for
