Another Japanese route has been revised, extended and released, (06 Apr 04), Details below.....Route............ Tokyo Subway Tozai Line
Location......... Tokyo Metropolitan District
Length........... 10.5 Miles, 25 Minutes to drive
Scenery Detail... fair
Station Detail... excellent
Train Included... no, Get from ...
http://flashpoint.s15.xrea.com/bve/Eidan05c.exe (5.2Mb) *DIRECT LINK*Tools Required to repair file for 9X Windows OS.... (XP users should have no difficulties in opening it)WinZip AND A Text Editor (eg, "Hackman")Download details ....... The altered route files with all station names in English, and errors corrected are included as an attachment in this post, one is for XP, the other is for 9X, (dump the one that does not use your OS)For the object files Go to .......

http://homepage3.nifty.com/BVE_TZS/BVE/ETozai.htmlAnd download ... Object (2.59Mb) and Sound (5.1Mb)Then if on 9X ONLY... WinZip and A Text Editor (eg, "Hackman") to extract, (Note.. the "Sunchi.zip" contains a .WAV file which should be placed in the sound/tozai folder when blown, as one of the original sound files is in junk script and will not open when extracted)..... (XP is OK)NOTE, If you don't know how to alter Japanese routes theres my NEW REVISED article, "How To Download,Run & Alter Japanese Routes, Part 1" (v4). It contains all you need to get the majority of Japanese BVE routes working correctly, (YOU MUST DOWNLOAD THIS ARTICLE AS IT TELLS YOU EXACTLY HOW TO GET THIS FILE TO RUN WITH 9X), Again XP users don't really need the article as it will run OK without alteration

To get the article, Go to ..... http://groups.yahoo.com/group/BVE/files/ (It's a 223Kb download)(Remember ALWAYS make copies of downloaded files first,in case you make a mistake !!!)If you have any problems with the file, (if you are running 9X I think you will), please post belowPS.. I notice the Japanese author is amazed at how many download requests are originating from outside Japan, he can't believe it !John.

The train doesn't seem to be the Eidan08. It seems to be the E231-800 found here

-----You are reading my signature now, don't waste your time reading it!-----
Or probably, maybe you should waste your time reading it.
Eh, where did my signature go?
Oh, here it is, the one you are reading right now? Can't you see it? I know I know, it's probably too bright to see it.
Hey, look at my avatar, nice right? I drew it with my own hands holding the mouse in Paint, with the pencil tool(and the Filling tool!)!
It's a picture of me in Planet Stooopid, where everything is the same as what you call "Earth" except that we are called "aliens" in your planet.
Anyway, I warned you not waste time reading my signature! You have just wasted probably about 30 seconds reading it, where you could have spent the time doing better things, like maybe reading the next post below if there is one...

I believe that was the one it used to use as the Eidan08 unit had not been built for BVE at that timeJohn

RE: Another revised Japanese line to DL *(6 Apr 04)*

I get a runtime error 9 "subscript out of range". It was able to extract fine and all that. I tried using the japanese route file and also the attached route file in the first post but to no avail. Help?

RE: Another revised Japanese line to DL *(6 Apr 04)*

The subscript out of range message means there are more than 100 missing files, by this, I take it you are running windows 9X/MEDownload my guide at yahoo BVE groups and follow the instructions given in it. The file I used in the article as an example is the original file of this route so it should tell you all you need to know. (BTW the files it fails on are the trains on the opposite line)John
