> and how do you turn on developer mode ?It only works with .csv routes. Just add the following to the top of the route file: Route.DeveloperID youridThen to run BVE in developr mode go to the start menu, click run, and put in (including the quotes): "C:\Program Files\BVE\BVE.exe" /D=youridOr if you have a shortcut to BVE, right click it, select properties, click Shortcut, and change the target to (including the quotes): "C:\Program Files\BVE\BVE.exe" /D=youridOf course if you installed BVE in some place other than C:\Program Files\BVE\ you should change the path accordingly. The controls for developer mode are: F5 = restart route F6 = close doors F7 = stop train Shift + F7 = increase speed by 5kmph Ctrl + F7 = decrease speed by 5kmph F8 = accelerate time / return to normal timeIn the 2.9 beta .NET version, you don't have to be in developer mode to use the commands.(It could just be me, but the developer mode doesn't work for me with v2.6.0.3)

-----You are reading my signature now, don't waste your time reading it!----- Or probably, maybe you should waste your time reading it. Eh, where did my signature go? Oh, here it is, the one you are reading right now? Can't you see it? I know I know, it's probably too bright to see it. Hey, look at my avatar, nice right? I drew it with my own hands holding the mouse in Paint, with the pencil tool(and the Filling tool!)! It's a picture of me in Planet Stooopid, where everything is the same as what you call "Earth" except that we are called "aliens" in your planet. Anyway, I warned you not waste time reading my signature! You have just wasted probably about 30 seconds reading it, where you could have spent the time doing better things, like maybe reading the next post below if there is one...
Developer mode was originally produced before we had luxuries like Track Viewer, to assist route developers in making routes. However these days many people use it even if they're not developing the route!!Slight correction for RW, it's developerid=tombeevers2000 (or whatever you are) -- Tom Beevers http://tombeevers2000.free-hosting.org.uk/piccadillybve/
