I think the cab is too dark.

-----You are reading my signature now, don't waste your time reading it!-----
Or probably, maybe you should waste your time reading it.
Eh, where did my signature go?
Oh, here it is, the one you are reading right now? Can't you see it? I know I know, it's probably too bright to see it.
Hey, look at my avatar, nice right? I drew it with my own hands holding the mouse in Paint, with the pencil tool(and the Filling tool!)!
It's a picture of me in Planet Stooopid, where everything is the same as what you call "Earth" except that we are called "aliens" in your planet.
Anyway, I warned you not waste time reading my signature! You have just wasted probably about 30 seconds reading it, where you could have spent the time doing better things, like maybe reading the next post below if there is one...

Looking Good

It's looking good Nathan. I personally would be inclined to brighten the cab slightly in Paint Shop Pro. If you hacve a photo where a shadow it pitch black, lighten it and you get all the hidden details Is that hapton the same on as on Steve Green's Southern V2? Love the track texture and the objects look different.Damon Cox - http://www.virtual-rail.co.uk

RE: Looking Good

That Route looks good! I'm not really a fan of 3rd rail, but the train looks good to!
Also, this could be an oppertunity for a Day and Night Cab Nathan

>Pete As the train hasn't seen any passenger service since 1972, there is only really one place where the shots can be taken from.--

That screenshot of that particular route looks good. As for the train, I think it does look better with the panel being lighter. That is a great effort and I look forward to the release of your train.Damon Cox

>Chris. Hi Chris,The gauges were stuck in with a bit of artistic liscence as they are slightly to the left of the driver in reality. The green speedo in the lighter panel which has been poorly cut round is the speedometer. It has a red line at the 75mph mark, and continues on to 80mph.The lighter panel is not as good as the darker one in my opinion, however the COR cab wasn't that light as there was only really one front driving window, and the two doors. Although this may seem a bit out of sense me saying that, there was not much light in the cab any how. However, I will make better improvements to the lighter cab i.e cut round the appropriate things properly, and I'll release both panels with the stock so that there is a choice for those who prefer to have a lighter panel than the dark. The COR development will start to tone down a bit now as I'm going on holiday next week and I am also going to be in a recording studio for a few days recording on an album, so time is precious at the moment. Hopefuly there will be a BETA release sometime in the next week.Cheers,Nat <><--
