Just to let you all know the project is progressing well. 60% of the sounds are in place including door, horn, loop and some run sounds. The only problem is that while traveling down the WCML you dont get the jointed rails so we might see the original sound being kept as the sounds i have are taken from a 321 travelling between Euston-Northampton. Also trying to find the passing train run sound is proving hard. Apart from those two things which can be resolved soon the 321 is looking good. So expect it to hit the servers soon!!!Slick ================================ www.freewebs.com/slickbve/
Well done Slick. I've never been a fan of the 321s in real life, but in BVE its a great unit. I like the drivers view - nice and clear. And it runs along on semi-fasts really nice. I've got a working already set up for it on the Maybank - Hammerwich service and I look forward to using your refurbished unit.Tony H Midlands 25Kv
That will be good!I don't think not having the sound of jointed rails is much of a problem because as you say, in real life it runs on continuously welded rail. It would be more realistic to have whatever sounds are made on welded track.
That's great news Miles! Would you like hosting like I set up for the 150/1? Pop me an E-Mail regarding your choice. Can't wait for the release!Damon Cox - http://www.virtual-rail.co.uk
yes please that would be great! One thing you will notice while driving the unit is how smoothly it runs. there isnt any loud howling winds its really smooth. its a first i think ive heard in BVE. but it IS the realistic sound heard from the cab!Slick ================================ www.freewebs.com/slickbve/
