Hi all,I've been a little 'busy' over the last couple of months, with work, real life, etc etc, but I've managed to find the time to tweak up the all stops Bay Park route to incorporate working TRTS, and improve the run sounds, along with creating a non stop ECS service, again with working TRTS from Bayfields, with both routes incorporating the working AWS system. Both routes also have advance PSR notification, for those of you who use BVE 2.9 to version 2.6.The third and final route is a Semi-fast severly delayed route, stopping at Cannick Junction, Caffyne Town, Wingate East and Hulcott Park, but due to over running night works ensuring that 2 tracks between Baysfield West and Cannick Junction are closed, coupled with a joint points and signal failure at Cannick Junction, all services are very severely delayed. Trying to get the AWS system to work on this route was an absolute nightmare, owing that the AWS command for red aspect signals is different to yellow aspect signals, so I have had to make this route with the usual default aws sounds from the sounds folder.I included the link to download all the files and additional objects at the bottom of this post, you'll need the original download, available from Steve Greens trainsimcentral site ( www.trainsimcentral.co.uk ) to run the routes properly.A few thanks to Steve Green, Anthony Bowden, Robert Glass, Nick Willis for use of their objects, John Owen for the use of his aws sounds, also to John for informing me on how to get the TRTS to work, and also to Steve for helping me cure the second from last permanent red signal, and also to my beta testers for the feedback and additional comments.Any problems, leave a message here.Sachawww.superduper.eclipse.co.uk/Bay_Park_Additional_Routes.exe (622kb)

I getC:\Program Files\BVE\Railway\Object\stme\Eng2.b3d(56) : error 53: File not foundWhen using the severe delays file.

-----You are reading my signature now, don't waste your time reading it!-----
Or probably, maybe you should waste your time reading it.
Eh, where did my signature go?
Oh, here it is, the one you are reading right now? Can't you see it? I know I know, it's probably too bright to see it.
Hey, look at my avatar, nice right? I drew it with my own hands holding the mouse in Paint, with the pencil tool(and the Filling tool!)!
It's a picture of me in Planet Stooopid, where everything is the same as what you call "Earth" except that we are called "aliens" in your planet.
Anyway, I warned you not waste time reading my signature! You have just wasted probably about 30 seconds reading it, where you could have spent the time doing better things, like maybe reading the next post below if there is one...

Phil, and everyone else who is confident of browsing through the file sytem of BVE, you need to copy over welder.bmp from Anthony Bowdens Watford Junction - Milton Keynes route and place into the stme object folder, this should cure the problem of the missing file error. If your not confident of doing it, I'll make up a patch tonight when I get in from work (after midnight UK time) and leave a link here, and I'll update the self extractor file to include this file. The missing '87 chunk is a problem with the 87 object which is only apparent in BVE 2.9, it works ok in BVE 2.6, and I thought I did the self extractor to show where it should extract the files to correctly, but as I haven't (ooopsies), the correct file path is C:/Program Files, or wherever your main BVE program is installed.Any other problems, leave in this thread.CheerseySacha<EDIT>And also a big thank you to Paul White for the MOW vehicles, much appreciated, sorry Paul, forgot to mention you in the original post !!!<ENDIT>

Thanks Sacha!I'm getting the same error - it seems a chunk of an 87 doesn't work.I like the idea of a 'delays' route - much more realistic for the UK members here I'll drive the other routes tonight...

RE: Additional Bay Park Routes to Download Update

Hi all,I've fixed the missing file problem and have added a link to the patch below, this is if you have already downloaded the main file listed above before midnight, otherwise the link above now includes the missing file, and which you won't need to download the patch, if that makes any sense. If your unsure, download both, it's not going to cause any problems if you do.Don't forget to extract the files to C:/Program Files or wherever your main BVE program is installed.Any problems, let me know.Sachawww.superduper.eclipse.co.uk/Bay_Park_Patch.exe

>(Head Boy - Springfield Technology College, Portsmouth) FrancisI 'Think' TRTS stands for Train Ready To Start, and the way the signal changes through the sequence, but if anyone else can give more information, it would be much appreciated Sacha

RE: Additional Bay Park Routes to Download Update

Sacha,TRTS means 'Train ready to start' and lights up a small light on the Signallers panel to let him know that a train is ready to go. It is operated by the platform staff at train time.In a DOO area (Driver Only Operation) ie there is no Guard the train, it is sent on its way after the CD 'Close Doors' light has been activated, and when the doors are closed the Driver is given a RA 'Right away' light which is located under the CD light.Great one for initials the railway!Bill

Hi SachaI think I've come on to something here that it seems your BETA testers didn't find.
In the attachment below, you will see a picture with two red circlular shapes on. One showing the Gaston marker and the other showing the next station's name. I'll let you see if you can see the error Also, maybe I'm too up-to-date, but, don't Virgin's HSTs now run with 5 Mk3s
Reminds me of the recent engineering works down south. Trains would come into Farnborough Main, travel over the points onto the down fast, as far as Prospect, then reverse up onto the up fast line and then travel against all signals, with only flags as guidence, at a steady speed due to the limited clearence between up and down trains. The heavy delays routefile is a great touch! Truly British!Damon Cox - http://www.virtual-rail.co.uk

Also, maybe I'm too up-to-date,
>but, don't Virgin's HSTs now run with 5 Mk3s No, Virgin don't run *any* HST's shortened or not on their Cross Country Services - they're all operated by Voyagers/Super Voyagers. The only HST's that Virgin use atm is for the Holyhead-Euston service - these are standard length. However even these will not be used after the summer. If you want to be picky, Virgin don't use 86's anymore either
