Is it possible to have the track in a bve route to go all the way to the bottom?I will explain:
If you look at the attached screenshot (Panel removed for other reasons), then you can see bve only puts the track/route down, about level with the reverser monitor. I would like it to go a bit further down.Panel Positioning – image 1Do you get what i mean?
CheersEdit: Couldnt attach the pic as Nels has disallowed it, so i put it elsewhere

1. I don't see a screenshot in your post.2. The only way I can think of is to go into the train.dat file for the train you're using, and change one of the settings. In the #COCKPIT section, you have 3 values:

#COCKPIT
700
2700
-1500
These 3 values are the X, Y, and Z coordinates of the viewing position(in millimeters from the front center of the train at track level). Change the Y position (the second number) to a higher value. Adjust until you get the desired effect.-Robert Marrero

RE: Panel Positioning

PeteThats a limitation of BVE 2.5 the window is only half way down.... theres nothing that cab be done to fix that the only thing i can suggest is you use 2.9 which doesent have that problem.

RE: Panel Positioning

Yeah, I have the file, but i went back to 2.5 because all my cabs looked, i dont really know how to explain it, sort of blurred?
I have been told/read somewhere that the panels are 512x512 for BVE 2.9, is this true?

PeteUnfortunatly at the moment thats another "feature" of 2.9 mackoy has enabled 1024x768 but the cabs will suffer and they are all blurred..in my opinion they will all need to be redrawn, but they havent been done yet since bve 3.0 is not yet released and for all we know mackoy could make another change and we will be back to square one!My opinion is BVE 2.9 shows some competitive features, but 2.9 is and always will be a "work in progress version" until i can get some concrete information about version 3.0 i will continue to develop with 2.5 in mind!Until then we can only wait... you cant develope for a version of bve that you dont know of the features for.
