>Looking very nice, its got a touch to it that i cant
>describeThere was an American painter in the early 1900's that did a lot of Eastern US Landscapes. Forgot the name, I think it began with a w or wy, but the screen shots look like those paintings. You might want to consider submitting some screen shots of the finished products to the main screen shot forum.

I've been honored by Michael to look at his work, and I can ensure that we have a true BVE object artist! Other then the visible amazing result, also the code in objects and in the route is well optimized!I remember some time ago people complaining for missing US route builders on Crotrainz forum, but now things are becoming quite different...My best congratulations again, Michael!Luigi Cartello

Since I live in Northern Va, I am really looking forward to this one! The screen shots look just like the Blue Ridge area. This will be an excellent route I am sure.

Looking VERY nice... the P42 looks a little funny though, lopsided maybe? I have some detail photos of P42s if you need any. What do you plan on using for traction? Top notch work though, especially like the tractor, station building, and tunnel. Tim FrostBVE in Virginia – image 10

RE: BVE in Virginia

Thank you all for the great comments. It's really encouraging.damcox-frame rate should be OK.Its no problem on the laptop I use and I expect it will be relatively short.wulf-F40PH:have it,love it!Tim-The car-side appears pretty distorted and I need to redo it.That may be what your seeing. Thanks for the offer;I may ask you to look at the route and suggest signals\signs since I have no knowledge of railroad stuff.Smace-I think the name is Wyeth and they are a family of famous painters. That's very perceptive of you because that's how I approach this work-as if it were a painting.I thought the screen forum was for M$T$.Joao-your one of the people who showed me routebuilding is an artform

BVE is indeed a train sim, and shots of all train sims can go in the screen shot forum. I checked with the resident mod 'upstairs' in the screen shot forum and anything BVE-screenshot related is A-OK. Last time we posted some I think we got a few people to try out BVE too. Smikes, if you need my assistance with anything I'm a PM away, but keep in mind I'm busy so it may take a while to respond. Adam (boliqua2) asked me for a signal something or other a while back and I still haven't made it. I shall try to remember this evening. And If I don't remember by the next time I go visit him he can sock me a good one. This is really just a test to see if he's reading I think.I have the whole pack of Steve Green's signals from the desert freight route packed into a nice little folder of the most used (most commonly used in my routes anyways) objects. I think you could use them no problem (ask perm before release) and I can explain how they work and why it's not prototypical for US railroads. If anything in this post is loopy, ignore it... it's 4am and I'm rather heavily medicated... but I think I've got it under control. RE: BVE in Virginia

Thanks Tim.What I'll want to know (eventually) is what kind of signals would be found on my route and where they would be placed, like before points or a tunnel;nothing too elaborate though.I might learn something about it,but just building the route takes alot of time and concentration-as you well know.
