Hey all. Take a look at the folowing screen please.
My problem is the thing that is circled in blue. I used "formula" to calculate the distance from track 0 (the green arrow). The problem is that the tracks don't fit very well. I did use several numbers after the point, up to 6, so rounding is not the problem. Can anyone help me to solve to problem? What should I do?Thank you

i would to help you but i can hardly to the tricky formulas myself. i just want to say nice objects on your site http://www.sasva.com/central_trainsHome to the Derby to Tutbury and Hatton route for BVE. To find out more visit the link above

Thank you very much
Your site is also nice The formule is not so difficult if you use some mathematic but i don't get why it gives an error. I used as angel 1000 (since 500+500).

You need to extend in lenght rail objects used for rails outside the rail(0).This phenomenon is due to the BVE graphic engine, that makes calculations based only on the radius of the rail(0). Every 25 mt in lenght object being inside che curve has each element partially overlapped one with the other. On the opposite, outside the curve of rail0(0), like in your tracks coming from the left, there are gaps between each rail element (if they are 25 mt long).May be that a look at this topic can help to understand better:

you can place a little rail between 2 or 3 meters between the blank rails. Or on another way , you place a rail which is -50 m long or -100 m long, but therefore you must coded the rail as a blankrail. So have i have closed the rails on my routes. greatings

Bonjour!
Bon courage!(That's a classic problem with BVE.
Each object is put along a radius of the curve followed by rail(0).
So, as each radius is going far away from others, there is a gap between each 25m long object. (Look to Luigi's picture). So, there are only two soluces:
- using rails longer than 25 m,
- or create an single object with turnouts and crossing. In that case, train must runing on an invisible rail(0) (Nullrail). It is possible to create complexes switches, long and curved for example (75m long or more), but such object must always begin 50 m before and must end at +25m, if you don't want to see your beautiful work vanishing suddenly while running. Some examples of such objects are in my route loop on my site.)All the best.

-----You are reading my signature now, don't waste your time reading it!-----
Or probably, maybe you should waste your time reading it.
Eh, where did my signature go?
Oh, here it is, the one you are reading right now? Can't you see it? I know I know, it's probably too bright to see it.
Hey, look at my avatar, nice right? I drew it with my own hands holding the mouse in Paint, with the pencil tool(and the Filling tool!)!
It's a picture of me in Planet Stooopid, where everything is the same as what you call "Earth" except that we are called "aliens" in your planet.
Anyway, I warned you not waste time reading my signature! You have just wasted probably about 30 seconds reading it, where you could have spent the time doing better things, like maybe reading the next post below if there is one...
