Hello Folks,I am creating the Island line for BVE, and I wondered if anyone could tell me the csv syntax for a station, as BVE Helper site is down at the moment. I do remember in David's JLE the station's were 'timeless' in the fact you stopped there when you got there and there was a minimum/maximum waiting time allocated. If you could help that would be much appreciated.

-----You are reading my signature now, don't waste your time reading it!-----
Or probably, maybe you should waste your time reading it.
Eh, where did my signature go?
Oh, here it is, the one you are reading right now? Can't you see it? I know I know, it's probably too bright to see it.
Hey, look at my avatar, nice right? I drew it with my own hands holding the mouse in Paint, with the pencil tool(and the Filling tool!)!
It's a picture of me in Planet Stooopid, where everything is the same as what you call "Earth" except that we are called "aliens" in your planet.
Anyway, I warned you not waste time reading my signature! You have just wasted probably about 30 seconds reading it, where you could have spent the time doing better things, like maybe reading the next post below if there is one...

Try changing the door variable to -1 or 1 if it is not already there.Failing that do you have a station further down the route with a .stop for it? I know it seems obvious but sometimes people miss these minor things.--

With BVE helper gone you might keep my CSV definition file on hand. It's saved my rear more than once or twice. Some parts are contributed by my good friend Adam (boliqua2). It's noted in the file.http://union-atlantic.com/download/csvcommands.zipBoth .txt and .rtf are included for your convenience. Tim Frost

And I always wondered the strange way people code. When loading objects, they will put, "With Structure" at the beginning, and when it is time to code the route, they will put "With Track" at the beginning. But they seldom put "With Train", "With Texture" at the beginning of the train sections and background sections respectively which I normally do. Doing that will save you some space for your route file, especially if you have lots of railtype so you only need to put .Run instead of Train.run

Let me clarify a bit on these parameters.PassAlarm : whether false pass prevention device notice (1:yes)
This sounds an alarm that indicates to the driver that the station is approaching, and you need to stop the train. It is intended to prevent the accidental passing of a station.Door : side of platform (-1:left side, 1:right side, 0:no door operation)
The side of the train on which the doors of the train open. Too bad there isn't a parameter that allows the doors on BOTH sides of the train to open.Stop : whether normal position of starting signal is stop (1:yes)
Shows a red signal as your train enters the station.Device : type of protective device (0:ATS-SN or ATS-P, 1:ATC)
The protection device as the train leaves the station.Sound1 : sound file when train arrives
This sound is played as the doors open.Halt : minimum time needed of stoppage time (seconds)
Jam : riding percentage for capacity (percent)
This controls how many people are trying to enter/leave the train, in terms of train capacity. This can be set for any number between 0 and 250%.Sound2 : sound file when train is departuring
This sound plays before the train doors close.-Robert Marrero

>Door : side of platform (-1:left side, 1:right side, 0:no
>door operation)
>The side of the train on which the doors of the train open.
>Too bad there isn't a parameter that allows the doors on
>BOTH sides of the train to open. All it does is just make the Sound1 announce on the door opening side. So not much use actually. A open and close feature might be better as it's simpler as well. Only 2 variables instead of 3.
