Cl360.zip (1.15mb)Just something I've been working on for this afternoon! It's missing most of the sound files, and I'm having a problem with guages and motor sounds.Any comments would be appreciated!CheersPaul
Hi, I've never seen this before, a user's first post and it includes a link to a train! Welcome aboard!Edit: Are you from the Tr*n*p*rt Fo*um under the name of 'The Irish Driver'? Second Edit: I've been there and realised the answer. i also noticed you BVE resource page: http://www.coopsweb.boltblue.com/ext/ge_trains/index.htm
Hi Damon,I am indeed! Been lurking playing with BVE for some time now, but never taken the plunge and done anything 'constructive' for it- and seeing as I have the resources at my disposal (i.e sounds, cab pics, unit information) - why not?Paul
Hello PaulTested your train. The sounds heard on the beta version are exactly what passengers and driver on board hears when running. The only drawback is the static speedometer. Appreciate if someone in BVE who is good in producing speedometers in the panel assist. The Desario would be fantastic addition for services on the WCML, SR v2 or Hammerwich-Wood Green. Cheers Hongjian
Hi Hongjian,Many Thanks for the vote of confidence . I do think that the sounds aren't as good as they should be. I tried recording them while driving the unit, but it seemed to pick up every other sound (the bogies on these units are quite noisy). I think it's just a matter of ajusting it with the train editor, but I can't find a way to do it easily. The speedo issue is another thing I don't think I'm able to do - I'd be happy to let anyone else have a go, and obviously give them a credit.Paul
Hi PaulJust tried out your 360 and its looking really good so far. As I am constructing a Walton-on-Naze to Colchester Town route for BVE I will be particularly interested in the finished article.Don't suppose you would consider doing a Class 312 when this is finished, as that would complete the set.Keep up the excellent work.RegardsDerek
>Don't suppose you would consider doing a Class 312 when this >is finished, as that would complete the set.I believe, once upon a time, that rob (Robslab) was creating a Class 312.
