Northern Line progress – image 1

LAST EDITED ON Jan-08-04 AT 01:22 PM (EST)

As I've had lots of e-mail lately regarding as to when the Northern Line update will be finished, I thought I'd better post here. The main authors, myself and Stephen Cross have had a fair few real life problems thrown at us of late, and we've not really had the time or inclination to finish off all the route variations we have started. We will however try now to get the Edgware-Kennington Loop and Kennington Loop - High Barnet route done for the 2000 era asap, leaving the heritage eras and the Morden via Bank section to be done at a later date. With the help of John Owen, David White and Robert Glass I have managed to complete the new 1938 stock, and will upload this in the next few days. Even though there won't be a 1970s route file for the 1938 and 1972 trains for a while, you will still be able to try them out by editing the 2000 era route file or by using BRR.Cheers
Steve

>Does the northern Line 2000 era? v3 have celia auto
>announcements? So far, it only has the one which says what your terminal station is.

-----You are reading my signature now, don't waste your time reading it!-----
Or probably, maybe you should waste your time reading it.
Eh, where did my signature go?
Oh, here it is, the one you are reading right now? Can't you see it? I know I know, it's probably too bright to see it.
Hey, look at my avatar, nice right? I drew it with my own hands holding the mouse in Paint, with the pencil tool(and the Filling tool!)!
It's a picture of me in Planet Stooopid, where everything is the same as what you call "Earth" except that we are called "aliens" in your planet.
Anyway, I warned you not waste time reading my signature! You have just wasted probably about 30 seconds reading it, where you could have spent the time doing better things, like maybe reading the next post below if there is one...

RE: Northern Line progress

Hi all,The route is done and dusted. We I get home from the library I will organise all the files, put them on a CD and upload them to Steve via my brother's e-mail.Please do not hound Steve for an immediate release, as has yet to check out the changes I made for himself, then package it, etc. This could take a while and I also have bits I wish him to modify as well. Thanks for your patience and I hope you all enjoy it.Bye for now,Stephen.
PS Steve Keep an I on your e-mail and let me know if you are missing any files.

RE: Northern Line progress

Hi all,The files went earlier today and though my work is done for the meantime, Steve still has a few little touches he wants to add before releasing it. This is only one of the many variations that will be available sometime in the future.Keep an eye on the Forum and let us all leave Steve in peace, I know he will let us all know when it is ready for downloading.Bye for now,Stephen.
