My belief is that Victoria to Brighton is an MSTS route that you have to buy, however if anyone knows different let me know!!!An alternative that I would highly recommend is Steve Green's Southern Railway route from Blighton to Treston Park. Although fictional, it really does capture the spirit of running 3rd rail in the South of England. Download at www.trainsimcentral.co.ukHope this helps!RedSam Canterbury
Hi, Here is a quote from BVE Depot:Brighton-London Victoria The whole southern line from Brighton-Victoria Via Gatwick AIRPORT Operated by South Central / Connex http://www.southernbve.uk.tt/It seems the site has closed and no further news has been heard regarding (to my knowledge) since.Sorry, Damon.
Hey guys, that site "used" to be mine until I quit producing routes. The London - Victoria to Brighton line was in production by a certain member of "The Transport Forum" which I cannot remember the name of. But anyways I very much doubt he's still producing that line, I havnt seen him on the boards for ages. Cheers Retro Kid.
Hi, It's a shame to hear that but yes, EuropeanBahn have created a great version of this route which you can use, either by the slow or the fast lines. It is available from all Game retailers.
HiI saw the London-Brighton route on the UK Trainsim stand at the Warley NEC model rail show. Some bits were not bad, with Clapham Junction being quite accurate, except for a lack of zig zag in the platform. However, I am afraid that Balham station was woefully inaccurate, (only the twin island platform arramgement is correct, otherwise it is totally unrealistic.) I suspect this is down to programming limitations in MSTS, becuase Balhma is in fact on the a viaduct! Also, the track layout is completely wrong. Other than that it is accurate! Please note that I commute on that line, so I am a very harsh critic! However, it did look an entaining route, and it looked very busy with plenty of AI trains. It is definitely only available for MSTS though.Paul
Being there in the driving seat, i was talking to Alan, one of the creators of the route. He was saying that some parts of the route are getting a complete overhaul, because they are wrong, but it is a great route to drive, and i live knowhere near there!
