I'm not dead… really! – image 1

hi there. For those of you who may have been awaiting screnshots of my ECML project, your patience has been rewarded. I decided not to waste time doing up my site, as i don't have time. Please bear in mind these screenshots are incomplete and release is still a long way off.

OK here we should see signals Y770 and Y772 at Copmanthorpe, Just before Colton Junction. Note the 'double red' type shunt signals in the middle distance. I have not completed the OLE here due to the fact that I need to respace the masts to take account of overlaps and bridges.I'm not dead… really! – image 3Here is the approach to doncaster. again, much to do here, not least 'de-SWITCH' the points to bring them up to spec with the track, then finish the OLE here. note the bufferstop on the left.I'm not dead… really! – image 4a bit further down the platform. The station itself is mostly done, just a few issues to sort out. Doncaster PSB is visible in the distance.
cheers.

RE: I'm not dead.... really!

Nice work.I have waited in Doncaster many times(why does the buffet close so early? grrr) and can say that you have captured the station really well, all it needs now is the regular compliment of spotters etc on the northbound platforms!
I look forward to the final release.Dave P.

thanks everyone!
I was there at doncaster open day, and thus got a lot of pics of enthusiasts on the ramps staring open mouthed at me because I was taking pictures of the buildings instead of trains.. so yes, they'll be included!

-----You are reading my signature now, don't waste your time reading it!-----
Or probably, maybe you should waste your time reading it.
Eh, where did my signature go?
Oh, here it is, the one you are reading right now? Can't you see it? I know I know, it's probably too bright to see it.
Hey, look at my avatar, nice right? I drew it with my own hands holding the mouse in Paint, with the pencil tool(and the Filling tool!)!
It's a picture of me in Planet Stooopid, where everything is the same as what you call "Earth" except that we are called "aliens" in your planet.
Anyway, I warned you not waste time reading my signature! You have just wasted probably about 30 seconds reading it, where you could have spent the time doing better things, like maybe reading the next post below if there is one...

LAST EDITED ON Dec-02-03 AT 01:26 PM (EST)

hehe. i am not into buses, but i think you are referring to one. I don't know what i'm doing there. When i started the route, northgate bridge hadn't been replaced, and i built it as such (2002) which also means i'll be putting VXC 47s in there... The new bridge is higher at the sides and would make even buses hard to see, so i'm undecided. but guess what? No voyagers. None whatsoever.
Mwa ha ha
Well, i suppose i could be tempted

RE: I'm not dead.... really!

That looks fantastic mate!!! Keep up the good work! It certainly looks better than the attempt at the southern bit of the ECML. Well done!

Bus objects are right up my street, just mention what type and I'll see if I have one on my HD or if I can knock one up quickly. I have to warn you though all my buses are the types found on London's streets and they can be repainted to non-London livery just ask, and tell which livery, and I will do it if I can. However I don't really make the bus types not found in London. Here is a bunch of buses used in a certain web based game of mine, choose a type on there most I have made. Please quote the Londdon Fleetcode name eg. the letters in brackets MCW Metrobus (M), as it will be easier to identify.Double Decks - http://joshimsbveroutes.gamehorizons.net/DDbus.htm

>http://brj.rr.nu We have a few Olympians left in Eastbourne, and they are the best they certainly are better than those new Optare Spectra buses, they are possibly the most irritating buses to travel on, partly because they seem to make me travel sick!! But anything with Northern Counties bodywork gets my vote!! We used to have a load of Atlanteans somewhere but they've suddenly dissapeared! Shame! Does anyone have any BVE models of any Olympians or Atlanteans I could use in a little project of my own?
