I made some changes to my route this morning. When I loaded it into track viewer it appeared to load fine, but when I went to move backwards I found that freeobjects had disappeared.Walls, poles, grounds and track were there but not objects. It reloaded fine and you could move forward with all objects there.I studied the route but could not find a reason.I had made a copy of the route before the changes and so I made the changes again and this time it worked fine in both directions.I should have saved the wierd file but I didn't.
So has anyone else experienced the loss of objects when going backwards in track viewer or have a clue why this occured?.It didn't matter how far forward I went.At any point I moved back the objects had disappeared.? ?

Yes, the same happened here. When I try to go backwards at any point
of my route,
some objects seem to be vanished.
I think this strange Track Viewer behavior occurs when a
route is very nice detailed, for example, my .rw file for
'Guaianazes to Mogi' currently has 95 Kb, 173 objects listed and
32 Grounds.

The problem is not only TrackViewer. It happens in BVE as well.
The problem is that the numbers are not in running orders.
E.g.
15000,.freeobj 0;5,
20000,.freeobj 0;1
21000,.freeobj 0;2,
16000,.freeobj 0;5, ;problem is here
22000,.freeobj 0;3,So from 16000m to 21000m, there will be problems when going backwards.
You can use BRR to check which part of your route has this problem.

Or probably, maybe you should waste your time reading it.
Eh, where did my signature go?
Oh, here it is, the one you are reading right now? Can't you see it? I know I know, it's probably too bright to see it.
Hey, look at my avatar, nice right? I drew it with my own hands holding the mouse in Paint, with the pencil tool(and the Filling tool!)!
It's a picture of me in Planet Stooopid, where everything is the same as what you call "Earth" except that we are called "aliens" in your planet.
Anyway, I warned you not waste time reading my signature! You have just wasted probably about 30 seconds reading it, where you could have spent the time doing better things, like maybe reading the next post below if there is one...
