Hi Everyone,I will keep this brief but due to certain members of the community, I have come to the conclusion that it will be better if I leave the scene altogether.I may continue with BVE Depot and will mess around with the 455 every now and again. I will quietly lurk the forum and congratulate you on your work.I won't say who these people are but well done to all those routemakers who have made my time here really fun.I don't expect many replies, I haven't exactly been a developer have I?Bye guys and thanks.Regards,

Well this stinks worse than a public toilet in a park. Who ever these 'members of the community' are, they'll full of sh*t. You may not be a developer but you are FAR from a troll, and many (myself included) look to your site for some daily BVE news and views.You're funny, intelligent, and knowlegeable, plus you know what's going on here and rarely act as most your age do. I see no reason for you to leave. Any member of a community that wishes to oust members that are not contrary to the collective good (IE:trolls) are not real members of the community at all.If you feel you really must leave, then so be it, but if I knew who these people were I'd have some choice words for them, especially if they can't come up with a valid reason for making you feel this way. I am also a visitor to your website daily.Keeps me up too date with whats going on in the BVE world.If these people are getting to you so much why not name them so we all know who is to blame for your withdrawal from this community.

Hi Damon,Although this is my first posting,i have checked this forum for a few months now and it's a shame you feel you have to leave because of a few mindless individuals.You have a good site which i check almost every day and use it to keep up to date with new routes etc.I agree with Arthur about naming them.

But you have to realise that your site is very important to many people in the BVE community, especially the daily news section. Just look at your hits. Damon, you don't need to do this!! A huge majority of the people in this community think you play a vital role in its smooth running.Look at all the praise you got when you announced how many hits you had got on bvedepot.Look at how many people there have been that have asked questions on this forum that you have been able to answer thanks to your great work!If people in the community are causing you grief, let someone know their names. If you dont want to do it on the public forum, which is understandable, then let a moderator such as Wulf know - we all know how well he can stamp on trouble. I reckon that there are gonna be many many people who will back you all the way!Please reconsider, Damon!

the community here on the BVE forum. Merely being interested
in BVE is all it takes. I agree with the guys, if there is
someone in particular that you think is the motivating factor
in your leaving, maybe you should let us know. You can always
PM Wulf or I if you have questions too. I think you should stick around, things are going to get interesting
when Version 3.0 comes out, and someone has to hang around and sing
the "I haven't released any BVE Projects!" lament with me!

I don't see what good leaving is going to do. As mentioned above, many of us go to your site on a regular basis, the route and train database in particular is a fast way of getting tho the sites to downlaod the ad-ons.If people are giving you grief, just tell Wulf rather than leave yourself, or block them on any IM services.What is the good of letting them think that they have won by leaving yourself? Surely those who have done wrong should be punished, not you.It is entirely your decision, but please reconsider for the sake of the Western BVE community.Derek kaye

The very word community means a collective group all living or working together with one aim or goal.To be a member here is very simple...1)be a member of the HUMAN race2)have an interest in BVE3)help and support other membersI quite agree that these people should be named but would suggest you have a private word with our moderators.You should now realise that the real community is on your side by the above replies. If you give in, the YOBS....TERRORISTS...whatever label you attatch to them, will have won...and no-one here wants that. We have come close a few times now and managed to overcome our differences and long may it continue. But we need everyones help...YOURS TOO.Cheers

I dont think this is the right way to deal with this. I repeat what other people say, you should tell wulf r someone like that. I think your site is great. I think it has the biggest database of routes and trains that I know of. The work you have done is good aswell. You contribute alot to the community(unlike me).Please reconsider!

Hi Damon Please reconsider your leaving the scene. Your site is one of the best in the world of BVE. I check it regularly. One thing that you should remember is that 99% of the BVE community work together and support each other, it`s just a couple of mindless punks who just like to cause trouble. Damon, by creating BVE depot you have helped hundreds of newcomers and experienced users alike to find anything to do with the UK BVE scene and for you to go because of some pathetic little gobshites is very sad indeed. I hope you decide to forget these people and continue the great work. I wish all the best regardless and thank you for a great service.
