Hi,I'ts been over a month since we've had a revised Japanese route to download, but there's one now available and it's a great one too, IMHO the best Japanese route so far, (10 Nov 03), Details below.....Route............ (Tokyo Subway) Ginza Line (route now in full)
Location......... Tokyo City
Length........... 9.5 Miles (15 KM),31 Minutes to drive
Scenery Detail... Excellent
Station / Track Detail... excellent (both improved from old version, including track curves now smooth)
Train Included... Yes, on same page (trta01.zip) 1.17Mb (in WHITE)Tools Required to repair files for 9X Windows OS.... WinZip CLASSIC
NONE required if running XPNB, If you don't know how to alter Japanese routes theres my article, "How To Download,Run & Alter Japanese Routes" (v3.1).It contains all you need to run the majority of Japanese BVE routes correctly, (with screen shots), and also how to anglify the route files with freeware programs and sources of Japanese railway infomation plus a full picture list of Japanese railway signs and their meanings. To get it .....Go to ..... http://groups.yahoo.com/group/BVE/files/ (It's a 838Kb download)
Route Download details ....... (I've translated the route file into English, and this is included as an attchment in this post, then put in a, "TRTA Ginza Line folder")
For the files, Go to ....... http://greenshuttle.loops.jp/trta/bve/bve.htmlIf you DL'ed this route originally a few weeks ago you only need the update files which are in GOLD ....downloadObject & Route ..... (mame.zip) 1.33MbSound...... (mamesound.zip) 2.63Mb(don't bother with the train upgade.zip, you won't need it)OR.................If you have'nt DL'ed this line before, you will need the files in ORANGE instead, which are...
Object & Route ..... (teito.zip) 2.25MbSound...... (teitosound.zip) 4.61Mb(don't bother with the gold ones for this though, you won't need them)EXTRACTION INSTRUCTIONS.............For both gold and orange DL's,(and train if required), use WinZip CLASSIC to extract these to a TEMPORARY FILE,before placing them in the correct folders EXCLUDING thumbs.db and the .txt files, which can be dumped.(BTW even though the folder names are Japanese, they all extract OK) *strange* !, then dump the route file and use mine instead Enjoy it, (well worth the trouble)John
