I'm having a problem entering the last station of the line. The last signal before entering the final tunnel is on red with a "4" above it. I know the 4 means platform 4, but the light stays on red. There is no proceed at caution signal. The light stays on red for at least 5 minutes. Is this a fault, or does the "4" also mean proceed at caution? Also for the last few signals on the line there appears a fault with the AWS, when there is a yellow light , the bell still rings instead of a horn. The above faults are on the class 47 run day and night. I have re down loaded the route, but the faults are still there.David
The 4 above the signal means you are coming in on platform number 4 of that station. It is likely that this red aspect is there because there is a nearby shunt switch which is giving you a proceed-at-caution warning because you're drawing to the end of the track. I just checked in track viewer and there doesn't appear to be a visible signal here. I can't say I remember experiencing this.If you're waiting so long, I'd just proceed at caution, like you probably would in real life had you gotten permission from the dispatcher.Tim Frost NVTA Subway routes for BVE: The Union Atlantic Railroad: Your stuff's important!
Also, make sure your'e not using BRR for that route, it might explain the incorrect AWS sounds... AFAIK there are no errors in the Sandymill routes and that there should be a calling on signal, that is it stays red but with the white dots (you know). If you are severely late the AWS sounds might not be correct either. Anyway HTH.
Unless the route has been updated since I downloaded it, that's actually a 2-aspect 'caution' signal just in advance of the tunnel leading to Invermay station. You can pass it and go straight into the station. The previous signal, yes, gives an AWS 'clear' when it displays a double yellow, which should earn it an AWS horn. When I first read this I wondered if you really meant the 'Southern Electric V2' route, but this doesn't have a class 47 run. On this, though, there is a 'red' before Treston Park but it carries a 'shunt/calling on' signal that's 'off' and, if you pull up close enough to the signal you get a message telling you to pass the 'main' signal at 'danger' under the authority of the subsidiary shunt signal. When you get to the platform there's another train at the buffers, the reason for the 'call on' as the main signal would indicate a clear track to the buffers.
Hi!I've been through all the route files and fixed the problems mentioned above!I also added a marker to instruct the user (driver) to proceed at caution past that last signal.Incidentally, that signal should now display a single yellow aspect instead of red.Sorry about all the problems! Hopefully, that's the last of them fixed!RobertEDIT No worries! ENDIT-----
