NS C44-9W 9187 is in charge of a mile long manifest freight, passing the blades at Beloit about to slam the Wiconsin Southern crossovers (I dont know if "slam" is the right word, there's a 20 mph limit through town!). Taken on my Illinois Northern Route. What do you guys think? Any tips for better pics? Thanks
well, Chris, actually, I have no idea! I have been workin on it for about 6 months, it is about 70 miles, fictional, and still has a ways to go. If you want, Id be happy to send you route specs or the route on CD.Thanks
I've got a few tips...1. Get as close to the subject as possible while still including anything else you want in the picture. 2. If you're only starting off with screenshots, a couple of slow speed trail runs thru the photo location will help you find the right angle. When you're ready for the actual screenshot, run the train thru at speed. 3. Take a couple of screenshots close together as you will be able to sift thru the lot and find the best one. This of course depends on how much space you have on your HD. 4. Practice makes perfect.Projects - 421 class Public Transport Commission of New South Wales diesel electircs: Roof - 90% No. 2 end - 88% (MU sockets, pilot details and number boards/headlights need to be added) No. 1 end - 05% (Headlight & handrails are on) Overall - 11.2% - 422 class New South Wales Government Railways diesel electircs: On the drawing boards for a project after the 421's.
