RE: SD45 shots......

The brilliant part goes to MLT.........its their model and it is very nice! The repaints probably will never get uploaded....I have to contact MLT again and see if they will let me.....at one time Jason gave me the OK to do some things....minus the shape file of coarse......but with the new restructuring I will have to ask again. the other thing is....they are not perfect..... there are a few things due to mapping.... that are not "prototypical" and the rivet counters would absolutely cut them down to pieces. For me I can live with the few things that aren`t right...... I really like the models they create.....whether they are Jason`s or Danny`s.....Thanks for the complements though.....and if they ever let me and if you can live with the imperfections of the particular railroads I chose to do and the models they were meant for....then I would without a doubt.thanks againCG

Awesome looking loco Did you use the SD45 from Cascades or the Bridge Line? or is there some other MLT SD45? I'm doing a Conrail one and MLT models seem prurdy hard to skin

RE: SD45 shots......

the D&H model seems to be the best to reskin......the mapping works a little better .....but the NP and CB&Q SD45s are BN heritage....all the others are D&H.....I have an EL,PC and Reading version along with the GN......I also used the GE units from LS&I...to do a few PC and CB&Q/BN versions as well. There is nothing like using MLT`s latest cabview and Diesels West`s GE sounds or EMD sounds from Cascade!ThanksCG

Sick. (in a good way) Yeah I'm using the D&H one just cus it seems a little easer to work with than the Cascades one, although I might make mine 1024 textures.

RE: SD45 shots......

Nice units.Could you possibly do a repaint of a Norfolk & Western unit(no its not a high hood). There was one NW SD45(#1728) that was involved in a wreck on the Reading in the mid 70's and was rebuilt with a low hood.

I would love to see the MLT SD45 repainted into the Seabord Coast Line colors. The SD45 used in the Bridge Line would be great since it doesn't have the yellow beacon over the cab.Claude Debnam NS Piedmont Division Raleigh EastSD45 shots – image 17

RE: SD45 shots......

You and me both, Claude! I don't have any interest in the D&H models, but I thought about buying them just so I could do CSX (and pred) reskins of the SD45. I've got another SD45 from somebody (not the original Dilworth model), but I haven't messed with it yet. Too much other stuff to do right now. I'd still like to do a SBD SD50, but I just haven't gotten around to it yet. School is in break now and it would be the perfect time if I didn't have to move all my crap 600 miles and then move it into the new house. Darn priorities. . .

I'll take whatever you've got in Penn Central and Erie Lackawanna.
