Yes it rocks... After a rough day at work this is the perfect nail in the coffin. After sending you all those containers Chris, I thought you'd know better then to slap my photo onto a model and claim it as your work. I guess I should quit this and any other projects I'm working on while I'm still ahead.Better yet, make the repaint, then upload it and only then announce on the forums, as someone might make their own faster from the screenshots. If this message upsets or offends anyone, feel free to ban me, not like that has never happend before.

And if it goes well, there's a black colored version coming. And yes, having a whole train of them is really cool, caught one this summer.

RE: IT ROCKS!

That is a very nice looking model. One suggestion if I may, perhaps you can make one with just gravel? A string of those together tends to emphasize the sameness of each car's content. A couple of different loads would allow one to mix them up a bit for a more realistic appearance. I know it's a lot of work so it's just a suggestion.Bill Alder

The model was constructed by George Mathews of SLW. The original rock model can be found on our site while the gravel version can be found in the "Elvas Tower" file library under the gondola category.http://elvastower.com/file_library/Regards,

>If you have the photos, you can repaint it. Definitely. I just downloaded the model and will take a peek at it. These "rock runners" ran by my old house several times a week heading up to a local quarry. They would come back with rocks the size of a small car. Impressive.

>the rock car hasnt been released yet because of some
>dissagree ments i think There's no disagreeement, as a matter of fact I recently got help from the Russian MSTS forums on how to finish the repainting.
I would probably have it done by now, but there's one little problem... I have to write an essay and build (yes build) a Christmas tree from the ground up, so am quite busy. I don'y like to set release dates, but I hope to get it finished by Christmas.>but, I like in others colours, for example in CPR, or
>other...
That's exactly why I chose to make this repaint.
