Seems Santa Fe and SP are running on the Pittsburgh Division when nobody's looking.I laid out about 3.5 miles of line with Horsehoe Curve in the middle as a means of practicing with the Route Editor, and since I've been mostly playing out West, I didn't have any appropriate stuff to run. I'm sure the local foamers don't mind one bit.
I'm really just messing around to get a feel for the route editor. I don't plan on constructing a route for distribution at this time. I only created a 7x7 tile area to play in and the track starts at 1 meter elevation just before the horseshoe, so I don't plan on building much more.Just a sort of test track to check consists on. I also have another disconnected section in this same route with 3 other grades, a 1.14%, 1.55% and a 2.2%, also for evaluating engines and consists. Believe me, there's quite a lot of effort that went into just this little bit. Bless those with the patience and time to create 100's of miles of complex routes complete with signals and scenery.I'll never be confused with one of them.
