Hi Tim, The shots in this post are like your Seaside Traction, just a beta test route to test out things. It is by Lukas & called DownTownTrolley. It's about 358 Meg. Can't say more. I'll post more shots later.Did you catch the MtE thread? My Computer specs are in my profile Mike "
@ Tim: You got a pointer in your mail. MtE activities in the process of getting updated to 7m trolley consists, new schedules due to better adjusted cabcar physics, and one key change in the .tdb which all sums up to a lot of adjustments to paths and traffic files.@ Mike: Hope it fits your concept of "gotta see what is at the ends of the track"?Lukas a.k.a Swissie
Hi Mike,Thanks. Lukas sent me the links for the DT. I'll DL them ASAP. Speaking of the Seaside Traction "route", my copy imploded and I lost the entire downtown area, the whole blue tile, leaving just the surrounding bits, such as the Sunnyside Loop, Elizabeth, Newberg, and all the narrow-gauge trackage. So, I've made a copy and developed the narrow gauge trolley lines, with loops and extensions, calling it "Oceanside Traction Company". I haven't done much with the route for some time tho. But I kit-bashed a neat little 3-footer workflat/freight motor for the NG freight lines. Thinking about making a small boxmotor like the OWP&R 103 I made a couple years ago, (and is still in the FL). Narrow-Gauge freight motor, Oceanside Traction Company #01: Narrow Gauge 13 bench open car, Oceanside Traction #130 and Pay-As-You-Enter #1 at Tabor Park business district: Narrow-gauge Pay-As-You-Enter type car #1, the Peninsula Park car, enters Main Street trackage from private right-of-way at the town of Bayview: The Bayview line crosses over itself after a few blocks of street-running: The line meanders back north to terminate at Peninsula Park loop, where a large dancing pavillion was constructed to generate weekend traffic: After some downtown developement: Dance pavillion and 1920's cars by Wayne Campbell. Old homes by Ron Picardi. This was one of the running projects I was working on before the interest dropped. I take it out once in awhile and run it, and just built the freightmotor last night from a standard gauge model and spare parts, just to see if it would work. Butt-ugly, but it works pretty good.
