Jonatan, Buried in my storage locker are my children's 78RPM records from the 40s. One of them is The Little Engine That Could. An electronic device called a Sonovox was used to create the sound of the locomotive speaking. The memory of I think I can, I think I can...I thought I could, I thought I could, echos in my thoughts. Actually the Polar Express is jus a Berkshire (I think) that could be reskinned and the cars could also be made from reskins./JonatanSteam rules!

Good point,The Polar Express engine is a digital version of Pere Marquette 2-8-4 #1225 (appropriately enough). 1225 is a Van-Swearigan Bershire, almost identical to the NKP berks that NALW put out a while back.hmmm...Tim Botti

Boy, there's a project I would LOVE to see... nicely modelled from scratch versions of all of our Island of Sodor favorites. Done correctly, I think it would be a fantastic addition to MSTS. Gordon, Henry, Thomas! Oh My!!

There is absolutely no comparison, to the little engine that could, and some prototypical D&RGW Narrow Gauge rolling stock MIKE. Take a little peak at the FL. Jonatans steam loco's are better than mine, his actually work! But I was talking about the subject of this thread. That IS the dumbest thing i've seen for train-sim yet. "That IS the dumbest thing i've seen for train-sim yet."Why can't we all just accept the fact that fun is where you find it?I like to model prototoype as well as proto-lance... but it doesn't make my preference any "better" than someone that likes to indulge their creative/fantasy side. I remember a fellow that was modeling a route based on the "Lord Of The Rings". No, it's not something I would model... but the guy was doing a fabulous job capturing the "mood" of his theme. Excellent creativity. Superb work. Even though I would likely not download the route if released, I always enjoyed his screen shots. Same with this effort of Jonatan's. Would I download it for myself? No, likely not. However, I have a 4 year old grand daughter that just might get a hoot out of seeing The Little Engine That Could strut its stuff in MSTS.So, it may not be an accurate representation of a prototype, but it IS nice "caricature" modeling. It takes talent to do that, mon freund. Try it, you'll see.

Didn't you have to create the model? Create the colors? Create the artistic rendentions? If so, then it is your own personal expression of a concept. Sometimes this place takes copywrite in view of freeware way too far.Upload it and don't fret it.

Couldnot have put it better myself Andre! Some people just have to learn to keep their mouths shut. My mother always told me "if you have nothing nice to say, dont say it at all". i think we should try to apply that rule.

Jonatan,I like that firebox shot... Again - thanks for the memories... To follow along with the concensus... In my humble opinion - I would just upload it... I seriously doupt anyone would have a problem with it...However...It's your hardwork and sweat - do whatever you feel comfortable with...Nice work sir...Regards,
