A side project, when not in the shops of the YLW. The Great Miami & Western is located at Hamilton Ohio. An article on railroading in the area, appeared in the August issue of Raifan and Railroad magazine. While the locos here appear in red and black with a "gold" stripe, the more accurate scheme is a black over mauve, and the aforementioned stripe. Although, different pictures found on the web, continue to show red. I guess it depends on lighting and film. In any case I will be doing up some replacement acefiles for the benefit of those interested in these locos, to make them more prototypical, colourwise. The models themselves, are not entirely accurate, but I think they turned out fairly representative. Perhaps if anyone here is from down around southeastern Ohio , and can pass on more info on the GMWRR, it would be most appreciated. As mentioned in the magazine,in no particular order, here is the GMWRR NW2, GP9 and lo-nose GP10 Paul Watson
