Cape cod shots… post em' if ya got em?

Very nicely done route here's some CSX units on Cape cod.I expecially like the variances of track grade....up & down,and all around,makes for very interesting "screenshots"

It is a very good route indeed, but too many error messages that kept interupting my run combined with some pretty intense track work found this route in the recycle bin today. What portions I was able to see contained some remarkable detail and scenery, but alas, I got other routes I can run.Chris Bogley

I don't care how bad a route is, its not going to my recycle bin. I'm a Dial-Upper and it may have taken you like 2 hours if that to d/l the route but its gonna take me about 25 hours to d/l. I've even kept my US2, Marias 3, and all of the original Kootiani's.Why dont you hang on to it for a while? Maybe there'll be an update.Later,-Dave

Just for the record..I never said the route was bad. I personally do not care for the trackwork in spots, but that may just be me. Lord knows I could not do any better, and based on what the creator of the route has said in other threads, he is not in a hurry to get on with any fixes. Not going to continue this topic because this is a post for sceenshots of the route, of which I have none. Chris Bogley

There are some pretty hairy curves.The route is very enjoyable and the scenery is awesome.Well done route!!

Hi Chris,Hmmm,about the eror messages,the only thing i can think of,is maybe one of the files you downloaded wasn't complete?I'd check the file size of each zip file and compare it with the file size of each zip in the file library.I remember i had to download a couple of the zip files twice.The only error i got was A1t0_2mstrt.s,which was a missing shape file in the Global/shapes folder.Good luckYou gotta see some of the bridges in this route...totally cool!

Your respone is what I would call a knee yerk response. Yes, there are a few files misssing but they can be easily replaced. This is a truly wonderful route with lots of interesting scenery and holds out a lot of potential if activity creators get behind it. There are many routes initially down loaded with a few minor problems. If every one followed your example, we would shortly have no new routes to explore, and you would have nothing to bitch about. Your attitude suggests that your just too damn lazy to put up with anything that happens to displease you, with little recognination of the great route this creator has made. Dwayne

That's a New Haven I-5. It's John Fowlis' work, and it's very fine work indeed. I'm doing the train behind it, which are models of the New Haven's 1948 second-generation American Flyer stock, built by Pullman, mostly at the old Osgood Bradley plant in Worcester, MA. NALW will be releasing the whole lot when it's done... -Phil

Hmm... You're in good company with that wish list. I have a few things in the pipeline after this passenger car project, so it will be a while before I get to those ... but not for lack of interest. Are you interested in the prototype Mack? or the production version?BTW: thanks kindly for doing a New Haven route, and one of the more interesting of them, at that. Seems we both chose "challenging" first projects . I'm definitely looking forward to more of your work... -Phil
