How exactly do you change it from default to Scalerail?

It's not a matter of swapping out textures (as I had hoped), but ScaleRails is a complete set of tracks. You have to delete the existing trackpieces and lay down new ones.

It's easy but very time-consuming, but completely worth it, I think.

WOW I am going to use that on my Tennessee Pass line that I was not going to tell you about I completely new one that I have in the works.

All ways remembering BigBoy 4023 and her run through Green River Wyoming on train 359 a 600 car mixed freight with a yellow Union Pacifc caboose on the rear.

You can change the ballast textures yourself same as you change a loco or piece of rolling stock texture--MakeAce (with the help of some utility like TGATool2 or MakeAceWin) and a photo editing program.

>and a photo editing program. I realise this..I was really fishing to see if Marc was going to offer variations in the ballast textures for the finished product as he has done an excellent job already. Far better than any ballast textures I could produce.

The templates that I'll release allow for many variations in the color of the ballast and the tie spacing. Once they're cleaned up and Photoshop versions made I'll post as a download in the ScaleRail forum. Cheers!

I don't know how long it'll be before I release the FBL v3 with ScaleRails, if I can release it. I may also do ScaleRoads, if I learn how to use them. Right now I've just been playing with the track.

I would do Sandpatch and Cajon but I don't have the necessisary track parts, i.e. dynamic track.
