RE: Modern Interurbans

But....this is GTA3 or Trainz?A mix of both. The train is Trainz, and so is the layout but it uses scenery objects from GTA3, converted to Trainz format.

RE: Modern Interurbans

by the way i don't think its legal is it ?It'd certainly be illegal to share those objects, yeah; so, they're for personal use only. This is technically illegal as well (reverse engineering etc) but from practical standpoint, there's no harm in this and i'm using widely available tools developed in GTA3 community, that the game makers apparently have no problem with... (to the point they actually use some of those tools themselves)

RE: Modern Interurbans

How long did it take you to set all that up? A very long time?I haven't played on Trainz or GTA 3 for a long time and somethinglike that might just rekindle my interest.Harley

RE: Modern Interurbans

How long did it take you to set all that up? A very long time?Depending on how complicated is the object, it's about 1o-3o minutes to fully convert one. Putting together the layout took maybe an hour total, and that's only because i'm both inexperienced /and/ fussy when it comes to this area.

RE: Modern Interurbans

To what extent is Liberty City interurbaned? Have you got a "map" of the extent of the layout? Have you got bridges connecting the three islands? Can you get any cars running on the roads?Sorry about all the questions, but it's not everyday you see something like this. Would you be able to fit the tramline into GTA, instead of vice-versa, or is that impossible?Sorry againHarley
