I'm new so not sure if this is the appropriate place for this.Attached (I hope) is an autocad 3d drawing of DSP&P Type A swing beam trucks - or truck as only one is shown. I know Wayne is working on car 618 and these would be the appropreate hardware for that car. I hope to get around to importing it into Gmax next week and setting it up for both MSTS and Trainz. Yes, I'm a fence dweller! I also have the single plate body bolsters for both 26 and 27 foot cars and am working on frames. Eventually I hope to have frames built with hardware for all early South Park freight stock. I also hope to get around to building the Mason Bogies, Cooks and other tittilating "stuff".My policy is that if you can convert my Gmax files to your program you are welcome to them. Yes, as they are, the poly count is way too high but I will be stripping them severly. I have other plans for the detailed root Autocad files. All I ask is to be fairly credited for my work. When I get the Gmax files ready I'll post where you can obtain them from.DSP&P Hardware – image 2Derrell

Hi Derrell!Say, haven't I seen you somewhere before?? Seriously:Commendable approach you're taking, that of offering to share/pool model parts for the betterment of the entire community of sim modelers.I hope the idea spreads!Nice seeing you here too. We can talk virtual railroading all we want here without getting run out of town on a virtual rail! BTW, the best forum for this post to reach those that can use this would be the "Locomotive Design" forum. That forum caters to 3D modeling for MSTS, regardless of the item. (i.e. loco's, rolling stock, buildings, etc, etc.)Andre Ming

RE: DSP&P Hardware

This is a very nicely detailed truck. We can't achieve this level of detail in MSTS ... yet ... but the ability to interact with the models and see them in operation more than makes up for the compromises. I hope you decide to take up some MSTS modelling and join this exciting new hobby.Wayne
