You guys have got sharp eyes. I couldn't let this model go by without throwing some stripes on it. There are some mapping 'issues' on the left side, so no pics from that side! Don't look for it in the file library anytime soon, I haven't spoken to anyone about repainting it and the readme for the rocky mountaineer has an pretty explicit 'no touch' line.
Hello Grant!Your reskin might be closer to release then you think. The Rocky Mountaineer GP40-2W was repainted by Harold Clithroe, but KLW TrainSim (me) owns the rights to freeware distribution to it, and it is fine with me if you release the repaint, as long as you credit the other fellas involved with the model. What sort of mapping problems are you having? Send me a screenshot to my inbox, or email me - I most likely can fix it, as I have the original model right here (along with versions for GO Transit (KLW in-house repaint), KCS (Bill Hemb repaint), CN/RMR (Harold Clithroe and you), and Huron Central (John Netzlof repaint).).Take care!Kurt KLW TrainSim
Gad ... I gotta get back to finishing the fixes on that 38-2W. That nose door looks awful. Soon as Christmas is outta the way ......Nice shot, Grant.Ray
Hello Ray....you've got some friendly competition from Grant and I - you ought to see his latest version with the corrected .S file....hehe! Take care Ray - hope your GP40-2W is coming along well, can't wait to run it!Take care!Kurt
