Hi Rory,
You also know the DDA40X was not a locomotive to run on coal trains? It was built for high speed freight, and had 90 mph gearing.

Not trying to give anybody a bad time. It is just running the DDA40X on coal is one of my pet peeves. It is akin to hooking a 12 ft. chisel plow to the back of a Maserati. Like asking a thoroughbred horse to pull a lumber wagon. Like asking Dante Hall or Ricky Williams to play fullback.
BobHehe or a mirror image.
Now where is my Concorde in FedEx livery!?

My personal favorite for prototype clashes is the Train Artisan Super Chief pulled by a shiney new UP Dash 8. The London Underground on the NEC is right up there, too.
