LOL.Cool little Mogul, eh?The 3' gauge engine isn't my model to release. It's a beta. Watch the Files Library, it's my understanding that it's getting closer to being released. Jon Davis is its creator... did an excellent job, did he not??Have fun!Andre Ming

Hi Andre,I'm glad you found what you're looking for. The mogul looks sweet, as does all of Jon's creations. Your route looks very impressive. Hopefully I'll be able to contribute to the narrow gauge scene sometime soon. It's woefully short on decent stock, isn't it?Have fun,
Tim

RE: Colorado NARROW Gauge in the 1880's!

Hi Tim!Thanks for the kind words on my little route experiment!Indeed, that Mogul is sweet. I love the way the engine brake operates as well as the way the train brakes operate. I'm going to tweak the pulling ability downward... it pulls way too good to represent the engines/terrain I like. Yes, accurately gauged and sized narrow gauge rolling stock for any railroad or era is dismal. (Lack.)Recently a 500 series DSP&P boxcar has been uploaded to the files library, so there's a start. HOWEVER, as for the lack of equipment, there are some things brewing behind the scenes that is encouraging. First, there's a DSP&P flat car in progress. (I already have an alpha of it installed and operating for testing and preliminary texture work). Second, I'm getting ready to scan/email a set of plans for yet another series of DSP&P boxcars, this time the 600's, to a modeler that I would term a "fine-scale" modeler in MSTS. (A term I apply to you too, Mr. Muir!) Looks like at this point the efforts are going toward getting a small selection of equipment on hand to equip at least one railroad/era before moving to the next. In this case, the DSP&P circa 1880's. If the efforts of us narrow gauge enthusiasts are coordinated, we can all profit from having congruent equipment ready for one railroad/era and then progress to the next. Now, if you'd like to help... well... we need a DSP&P way car in the worst way. Or, a gondola is also needed. I've got plans, pics, info, etc. Let me know! Andre Ming
