The construction of a convenient & efficient high speed network over a continent is a very hard, very expensive, very long lasting task. Many lobbies hate the idea... And as long as decision makers get comfortably flown around in private jets, and the voting crowds don't even know what is talked about, bet zilch will happen...The idea NEEDS political engagement & priority setting, can't detect any such in U.S.Or am I wrong ?Love and Peace
