Seeing as this one is anchored, I'll re-post my comments from the main MSTS forum in here... I would like to thank all the sponsors for their support of this screenshot contest and for the great prizes. I also think the MSTS community around the world should be congratulated for the quality of the screenies. The judges must have had a very hard time working out who would win it! As for my screenie, I would also like to thank Russell Beer for his excellent Footscray - Ballarat route. Finally, merry christmas and happy new year to everyone. --Victorian Railfan Web Site:

RE: Winners of Screen Shot Contest 2003!

What a way to wake up on Christmas Eve to find out you've selected my screenshot...! I'm truly honored. Thank you Marc & the 3DTrains crew, and thanks to all the sponsors who generously contributed to this contest. Having railfanned the Delaware & Hudson in the 1970's, the majority of the credit must go to the group at Maple Leaf Tracks for the terrific D&H Bridge Line Route, and to Gaetan Belanger who crafted the superb motive power. Fine work, gents!I'd also like to take this opportunity to thank the countless individuals who have contributed their time and talent to make MSTS a premier simulator, with Nels Anderson at the top of the list.Since I am not a route builder, I would like our resident longhairedwizard, Bill Bzak, to be the recipient of the Demex and Jumper software. I know Bill will put it to good use.To ALL of you who submitted screenshots, take a bow! The quality was truly exemplary. Thanks again, and a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all! All:Can't speak for the others, but as one of those that had the tremendous task of selecting the "winning" shots, I can assure you that it was a tough job. There were some EXCELLENT shots. Many, many shots received votes. The above three simply received the most votes. To each entrant, thank you for taking the time to enter. I would also like to commend the superb sportsmanship that is being displayed above in the congratulatory posts. As a co-sponsor, that is very gratifying to see. Thanks again to all that participated... we all hope you enjoyed it!Andre Ming
