Hello all, this is a shot I did for the contest but rejected in favor of another:December 1906With the big day just one week away, a Special train has been put together to take shoppers from all along the Osprey Lake and Northern railroad on to the town of Beecher, the roads northernmost terminus. Here the train stops at Osprey Lake to pick up up passengers. With the summer residents all gone, their cottages shuttered for the winter, the quaint little town and its band of hardy year round residents has gone into its annual lull, but the children are eagerly counting the days until that special night when Santa and his reindeer, on a respite from their globe spanning rounds, will ride the rails bringing joy all along the OL&N.
