I was unaware there were any newer versions of Bodiddy. I downloaded it quite along time ago so it may be one of the earler versions of it. Not usre though. I have had it for over a year and have been running it for all my steam runs. Bodiddy is a often over looked route by most I think but is a good place to run steam and get some screen shots of that kind of era running. In some of my shots thought the Alpha channels were running amuck. sometimes they foul up when I run and have to restart to get them right again.Don Pottorff Long Live the Steam www.vmf323.com www.fiero.nl
Heya Don,In that area, Marietta, there's alot of changes. For instance, the OR&W yard has been replaced with a branchline extending up to the track that heads into Devola and the Marietta Yard is all new trackage from the version I think you have. Further south of the yard is a coke oven facility. More changes include a better grading of some of the track and the curves were made to be less sharp. Behind the oil facility is new trackage as well. There's also tracks in the water to run boats. The newest version is 10. Still easy to install too. It's over at avsim. If you look on my website, there's some promos for the route add-ons like the steam packs and diesel packs. www.edmfamily.com/msts/bo.htmRich Garber
Cool thanks I will check that out. Bodiddy is one of my favorite routes to run on and those pictures is from an activitie that i am building for it. So far I have 2 static engines and 6 or 7 running. I am still working on the timeing so I can see every engine at a given time along the route. It Includes alot of the best American Steam Engines out including the TA Pacific, Challenger From NALW, Berk From NALW, the Cotton Belt 819. the ESE, and later will include more as I add running and Static Engines and rolling stock. I am downloading some more Steam Era Rolling Stock to keep it along that time frame as in Late Steam. I orignaly was going to include some Early Diesel but decided to make it a pure Steam Activity. That's good but here's the bad news. Activities made on one version of the route may not work with the other versions which is all the more reason why to have the most current version. In addition to build 10, there's a patch, build 10.1 you will need to have. The patch alters some of the Zanesville yard. Makes it quite more pleasant than early versions. There's a installation tutorial available at www.edmfamily.com/msts/bo6.htm that makes all this easy. What's more is you can install the later version over your old version without having to delete anything. Good luck to ya!Rich Garber
