We are on the ex L&PS line north of St. Thomas. This section became the Talbot Subdivision after CN purchased the line in 1966. The electric overhead is long gone and oil has replaced coal as the heating fuel of choice. These oil cans were loaded from tanker ships at Port Stanley and are on their way northbound to London.Wayne Credits: SW1200 - Grant Culbert repaint of a Dave Dandy model. >How'd you get the shadows like that?? That looks like something rendered right out of 3d studio, haha I'm allmost certain it is .It is. MSTS can't create graphics that good. I'm most certain about it./JonatanSteam rules! Never trust computers. If you do, they will betray you.Keep those "diseasels" away from me!

Povray is a free renderer at www.povray.orgIf you have some programming experience, it is not to hard to use. You can see from their website, that in skilled hands, it is capable of some pretty accurate rendering. I really like the NewYork city scene. It gives us an idea of what to expect from MSTS 4 maybe.I have been working on a utility that converts an entire MSTS route into PovRay format. Thats what I use for these recent photos. But I am struggling a bit with a few problems. Not least of which is that the default MSTS roadbed floats off the ground - and this becomes painfully apparent when PovRay casts a shadow under it! Anyway, if I get the bugs worked out, I will share it with anyone who is interested.Wayne
