Just done pretty much the same as other night textures, only the buildings were made not so dark and the lighting effects made much more subtle than the default, all the clutter objects, even bridge have night texturesSome night pics from the Severn Valley – image 15

One thing I'm wondering how you did it, how did you make the flowers in spring, summer, and fall, but not there in winter???? I think it shoots the realistics of the product waaayyyy up.-Yeah, that's right! The Raider Marching Pride!!!!! -You can never have too much inner beauty. Or socks.

RE: some night pics from the Severn Valley

we used a blank texture with an alpha-trans channel which baiscally menas the flowers are there, they are just invisible becuse they are hidden with transparncy, some other bits and pieces using the same thing are some of the animals in the safari park and some of the hot air balloons.

RE: some night pics from the Severn Valley

Trust me it sounds simpler than it actually was on the night textures, actually did some of the objects 3 time to get the night textures right, the flowers were all done by Terry Thornton who is a master at these things, he also build the stations tooIf you are interested in who did what and some background on the route see http://www.uktrainsim.com/index2.php?form_reader=interview&CUTHERE=
