Needed a break so I went to work… Canton shots – image 1
Winter has come to Canton and I have some pickups and deliveries to make. I'm slowly backing up into Metal Fab much to the annoyance of some christmas shoppers.Needed a break so I went to work… Canton shots – image 2
My brakeman manning the switch to Metal Fab had his own camera and so he jumped on some crates over at the Canton Newspaper building as I slowly backed the train into Metal Fab.

Well-Now you've done it.
Ya' done gone and got me all excited about Canton at Christmas.
Awright. Start working on them 40' peppermint candy canes, and the snowmen, and wreaths and holly, and-well you know-All the kinda' stuff.
It will be done by Christmas, right? Hawk"First thing I remember knowin', was that lonesome whistle blowin'-And a yungun's dream of growing up to ride-
On a freight train leavin' town, not knowin' where I'm bound.
No-one could steer me right-But Mama tried."

Very, very nice Rich. Quite evocative of a frigid day with a gentle snow falling. Oh, and the modeling and route building ain't bad either for a fly-by-night operation. BTW: Do you have Sky Conductor! in use on that route?Andre

"No skyconductor in these pics, just the default sky"Thought so. That's why the scenery is grayed-out so the distance seems "snowy" and visibility limited. I recall this being lacking in Sky Conductor. Another of the reasons I'd like to figure out how to uninstall Sky Conductor 2 and return to default on my routes.Anyway... nice modeling!Andre

23 hp!?!? You did get the RS-1 part right though. RS-1's are rated at 1000 HP.

"You did get the RS-1 part right though. RS-1's are rated at 1000 HP"Actually, he didn't get that right either. Note the battery box in front of the cab? See the exhaust stack location? Also note the rounded curves on the ends of hood? It's an RS-3. FWIW: As I recall, an RS-3 was rated for 1600 HP.Have fun!Andre

Oops, you're right. I only looked at the first shot, and obviously not long enough.
